What is it?
B.C.U. is now offering you, a Death Benefit Insurance designed to relieve the burden of bereavement costs.
With funeral costs increasing, few people realize the impact that funeral costs have on any life insurance benefits that you may have.
D.B.I provides family members with added security and relief from financial worry.
Who is eligible?
As a member of B.C.U., you are eligible for this cover provided you joined the B.C.U. before age 70 & have €100 in shares in your account.
What is the benefit?
The benefit is €1,300 payable on the death of the member.
Passing Of A Members Interest
A facility offer by B.C.U. to members is that of “Nomination”.
As a member you can nominate a person or (persons) to become entitled on your death to any property that you may have in B.C.U.
The maximum that a member may nominate is €23,000. You may change your nomination at any time. It is important to note that a marriage will revoke any nomination made prior to the marriage.
This Facility is provided by B.C.U. free of charge. It is a Service that Members over 18 should avail of.
